My friends and I went out on a stroll, it had just stopped raining. The smell of the wet mud was making us feel so tranquil and reminded us about our childhood days.
The place was filled with greenery, birds, and
fresh air. The first thing we saw was just a vast stretch of trees and plants
that gave us the feeling of a resort. Ducks, hens, and roosters kept passing by
us. We were hungry and we looked around for a food stall and found one across
the compound. We bought a few packets of biscuits and fed a few to the ducks
and other birds. The buildings were playing hide and seek with us as the hid
behind the beauty of the green trees and plants.
We walked around the place and found a
magnificent creature- a blue eyed caterpillar. It was so mesmerizing to see
this amazing creature, all of us were awe-struck. This place was truly mother
nature at its best form. There were so many trees that none of us have ever
seen in our lives, from trees aging to almost a 100 years to trees just a few
decades old were seen. A big Christmas tree of a unique specie was standing
tall and proud.
All of us were so engaged in the beauty and
serenity of the place that we lost track of time. As we turned around to head
back into this haven of pristine beauty of nature, we saw the majestic board of
this beautiful place and jolted me awake of this amazing dream. I woke up with
a smile on my face looking forward to spending the day in this serene place-
Jyoti Nivas College.
